The Shedder

The Bush administration has been warned to not destroy any records related to their dealings with Enron. If they have less to loose by shredding, I'm sure that they will shred anyway.
According to the VP, the administration can't disclose their conversations with Enron officials, because that would lead other businessmen to be afraid to talk candidly to the office of the president. So? What idiot would expect that his conversation with the office of the president would be confidential. That's silly, and for the VP to advance such a silly idea is baffling to me, because when I voted for him, I thought that he was a man of integrity. To my knowledge, there is no vice president - client privilege in America.
Let's be for real. Whatever is said in a meeting with the administration should go on the public record, unless it is a matter of national security. This is congress that want's to see the records, and congressmen, I believe have certain security clearances.
