EMOTIONS
One of the major complaints about men, by our women is our lack of emotion. They assign feminine values to men and charge that we simply will not show our emotions. This implies that we are emotional creatures as women are, and that we are not allowing these emotions to be expressed.
Which emotions are they talking about? Guys certainly don't mind showing rage, lust, frustration, hate, envy or greed. Unfortunately, the emotions that the girls seem to be interested in are the more gentle and tender emotions that result in romantic pleadings and quiet confessions of love. They would prefer that we men stop feeling and expressing all of those aforementioned emotions.
Therein lies the problem. Women and indeed society at large demands that men suppress our natural urges and emotions. We are driven to exhibit rage when we feel frustrations, and to exhibit lust when we feel aroused. But these emotions are not allowed and in most cases will result in jail time. Therefore we must learn to dampen our emotions, in order to keep our civility. We must numb our desire to whistle at a chick with a nice booty, and bite our tongues to avoid having to whip some booty. Once you start to resist your natural urges and emotions where does it end? We are not supposed to feel rage, but we are "expected" to feel tenderness. But this is not how emotions work. You feel what you feel, or you learn not to act on what you feel. Women should understand this more than anyone, since they relish the ability to "feel" and act out on feelings. It is in fact what they ask us to do, but they only want us to act on the feelings that "they" enjoy.
Jeff Foxworthy once said, "Men are not that complicated. We just want something to eat, and to see something naked." Chris Rock had a similar sentiment when he said, "A man just wants something to eat, some sex, and some quiet " Now, unless we can have what we want, how do women expect us to be emotionally able to give them what they want.
