It Was Clinton's Fault!!!

BINGO. I had been waiting for 3 days for the GOP, it's talking heads and AM radio talk show promotion team to come up with an angle that would point the finger of blame, for the loss of the Airship Columbia on the Clinton Administration - as always.
Well it was Tuesday night, February 4th when I finally heard the excuse. Apparently the Clinton administration was friendly towards environmental whakos, who lobbied to get a ban on the air conditioning refrigerant, Freon. According to Carl Limbacher, a Newsmax.Com writer, who appeared on a little local radio show in Los Angeles, NASA was disarmed by the inability to use Freon to cool the shuttle, and had to settle for the silly foam cooling agent that probably broke off and damaged the doomed orbiter.
Republicans, usually big on personal responsibility when it comes to indigents looking for some relief, have decided to give the NASA management a pass on this possible error in judgment. The fact that they could have refused to fly shuttle missions, unless they could arrange a Freon Exemption can be overlooked, since Bill Clinton's administration messed up back in the 90's.  Lord knows that we can't blame any of this on George W. Bush. He's been in office for two years thus far, and the buck has yet to stop in his vicinity, to date.
I can't believe that this tragic event is being so shamefully politicized, by GOP operatives... Well, actually I can, because this is what they always do. It's the same thing that my 6 year old does when somebody drops chewing gum on my carpet.

Addendum: Now it looks as if the shuttle may have collided with something - perhaps a meteor, or a piece of space junk,  in near space. I don't know how we can blame this on Clinton now, but I'm sure there will be no "bearing false witness" apologies forthcoming either.
