son, that if you should ever get to the point that you can truly
understand a woman, then you have probably become one."
There remains a bit of confusion in the minds
of a lot of folks about the differences between men and women. You
will constantly hear people describe the "kind of woman" or
the "kind of man". Therein lies the first mistake - in
thinking that there is more than one kind of woman or man. Granted,
there may be different physical types - tall, short, black, white
etc. But just underneath the skin, you will find that there only
exists two separate creatures to choose from.
You have to choose your words wisely, and beware of
semantics. Consult a dictionary for the proper definition of a woman
and you get.
An adult female human. Likewise the same book will define a man as:
An adult male human. Not much wiggle room in either
definition - right? Perhaps if we dig a little deeper semantically,
and seek the definition for lady, we would get a much narrower
explication. LADY: (n) 1. A well mannered and considerate
woman with specific, high standards of behavior.
That's pretty clear. That's the definition that best
describes the girl that you want to take home to Mommy. That's the
girl that you want caring for, and kissing your red-faced infant
children. If ever you are able to literally describe a woman as a
bitch, or a whore, and the adjective actually fits the noun, then
drop the noun from the sentence. The noun will not be necessary to
describe the woman that you have in front of you.
To be politically correct, you will expect to see the
reciprocal definition for gentleman. GENTLEMAN: (n) 1. A well mannered and
considerate man of high standards of proper behavior.
That's pretty clear as well. It describes a woman, or
at least a man that is indistinguishable from a girl. He makes a
good school teacher, waiter, or bus driver, but this is not the man
that goes home to meet Daddy. He can of course play that role for
three or four hours (10 hours if your Daddy has a nice house boat),
but any man that can fit this description, long term, will never
manage to hold his place as MAN. Don't play yourself, sooner or
later, the woman will forget that she is a lady, and seek out the
real thing.
A woman goes out looking for a caveman, telling herself
that he will change - but he does not, and if he does, she will have
to find another one. A man sets out to find a beauty queen,
hoping that she will not change, but she will, and when she does, he
starts looking for another one.
So that's it. Nobody can
say more. There are various gradations of people, but they are
either one or the other - man or woman. Anything that fails to
adhere to the polarities is not what you want, but is probably what
you'll get.
