Growing Up. Little J'shell North has recovered from her early childhood illness, and now at 2 years old, she's looking and feeling good. Congratulations to Mary Louise Smith and her marrige to Nick (since I didn't get an invite, I don't know his last name). The happy couple was married on the day after Thanksgiving, and will be visiting the groom's native Egypt, later this year. Welcome to the family, cuz.

Please take a moment and say a prayer for Aunt Anna and Betty and our whole family with the loss of husband and father, Uncle Lonnie Trasher. He passed recently after an extended illness. Last year I had a chance to visit with him one last time, and I am saddend to think that I failed to sit with him over the years, and benifit from his years of wisdom and knowledge.

The last Mega Family Reunion (1999) was hosted in the Motor City of Detroit Michigan.

The Festivities began on Friday night, at the Posh St. Regis Hotel, where most of the out of town guests lodged for the week-end.. We dined and were introduced to each other by our Mistress of the Ceremony, Dianne Hinton.

On Saturday afternoon, the Clouds were swept away in order to warm things up at Belle Isles Park, where we fired up the grill under some B-B-Q. We sat around and had a good time with each other, while the children played. The greens never did arrive, but all the eats were good anyway.
